- Family
- The Family was the first institution created by God. It is therefore the highest
priority of life second only to our commitment to God.
- Reading
- The mind is the greatest gift God has given us besides life in His Son Jesus Christ.
Through reading we can explore people, lands, and horizons otherwise beyond our reach and
thus expand the world and our perspective of God and life.
- Religions
- If one limits his understanding only to that which is comfortable and familiar, the crib
would be our abode through life. It is only as we explore the religions of the world that
we can become comfortable with them and peaceably relate to those who differ in such
personal matters as faith, hope, and love.
- Architecture
- True Architecture combines both the emotional and physical needs of man into a lasting
thing that brings peace and comfort to the soul as it meets the human physical needs.
- Hiking
- It is only when one leaves the automated world and finds places of privacy that the
ability to listen to the voice of God is really achieved. It is in moments of finding new
things from the hand of God that His creation speaks clearly to the soul of man and
reveals the loving creative nature of God and the free grace He offers.
- Mountains
- The mountains have and always will be home to me. To hear the wind as it blows through
the trees, the smell the fresh pine and cedar from the trees and the loam on the ground,
the taste of water cleansed from the ground God made and bubbling clearly from the earth,
this, my friend, is speaking, hearing, and tasting the best God has to offer. This is
experiencing God through His creation.
- Computers
- Computer's are fun tools that open doors to information and communication. The danger is
when they close the door to personal face to face human contact. Walk carefully down this
road.

- The time I spent with the Fred Parker Company I wore many hats. During the summer of
1994, I ran his show home for the Street of Dreams show. This is a national competition
and therefore required extensive planning and scheduling. I planned the tour, scheduled
all personnel, worked with Realtors, on site personnel, and over 30,000 guests who toured
our home. I was in charge of training the tour docents on all information on the Fred
Parker Company. After that initial relationship, I continued to help Mr. Parker in a part
time basis with his show house needs. In 1996, he asked me to come on full time. I wanted
to finish my MA and begin work on a Ph.D., so I accepted. In the last two years, the
company has grown significantly and I was unable to go to school and keep up with the
workload. I have continued to do all marketing training for the show homes. We hosted
another Street of Dreams in the spring of 1997. I planned organized and trained all the
